British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is a professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy. BACP’s register of counsellors and psychotherapists is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

CNHC is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary therapists. CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. CNHC’s register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

General Hypnotherapy Register & General Hypnotherapy Standards Council

The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) are the UK’s largest and most prominent organisations within the field of Hypnotherapy and together present an exemplary model for the provision of practitioner credibility and services.

National Centre for Eating Disorders – NCFED

Eating Disorders Treatment, Recovery and Information Service for all you need to know about eating disorders, body image and topical issues for sufferers, carers, students and the press.

The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy – (APHP)

APHP maintains directories of Certified Hypnotherapists UK and world-wide. If you are looking for professional help via hypnotherapy, then this site will help you to discover the location of competent and properly trained therapists in your area. All members/practitioners are guaranteed to have undergone thorough training with training institutes who comply with or surpass the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy.

AAMET International Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Therapy

AAMET International is a unique, not-for-profit global association of dedicated EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioners, trainers and students. They hold their members to the highest standards of EFT practice, and all must engage in annual professional development activities, undergo supervision and mentoring, and uphold a comprehensive code of conduct and ethics. The AAMET website is a hub of EFT information, events, and scholarly work, including the latest scientific research, a growing archive of EFT articles and perspectives, and a comprehensive introductory EFT manual.Their mission is to promote the skillful, ethical, and creative practice of EFT.
